With so many people under 24 unemployed, we want to give young people a sense of
purpose and self belief. That's why we're supporting the government's "Backing Young
Britain" campaign. At Asda we call this "Flying the Flag for Young People". In practical
terms, it means a range of programmes designed to introduce young people to the
world of retail and see it as a long term career.
